Alex and John have been involved in the hospitality industry for a number of years.  In 2007 they took a giant leap and decided to do it for themselves and  Queenstown cheered!

Alex and John took over Chalet Queenstown, an iconic building in the style of a Swiss chalet. In 2009 a major refurbishment was undertaken and the Chalet is now one of the most superior Bed & Breakfast accommodations in Queenstown, New Zealand.  

They also own the Historic Stone House, a Heritage Trust property, which they have lovingly and sympathetically restored.  It is unique - a real gem!  Old world charm and architecture blends effortlessly with contemporary comforts.

Alex enjoys meeting people from all over the world and guests always comment on the friendly, relaxed ambience which has been created at Chalet Queenstown and the Historic Stone House.
