Your Hosts
Together Alex and John have over 40 years hospitality experience in luxury hotels and lodges - now they are 'doing it for themselves' having taken ownership of the Historic Stone House and Chalet Queenstown in 2007. They have lovingly restored The Historic Stone House to its former glory and created an exceptionally friendly and relaxed ambience which guests never fail to remark upon.
Itinerary and activity planning are a Stone House speciality. Alex and John have a wealth of local knowledge and are happy to liaise with local activity operators on your behalf - from a nerve wracking bungy jump to a more sedate cruise actross Lake Wakatipu.
