The Chalet Queenstown

About Queenstown & Our Location

Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand. It's also the gateway to Milford Sound, Doubtful Sound, Wanaka and Te Anau.

In winter, ski or snowboard at internationally acclaimed ski fields within 20 minutes drive.

Take a  leisurely cruise across Lake Wakatipu aboard the steamship TSS Earnslaw.

Ride the gondola to the top of  the mountain.

Visit the many wineries for tastings and perhaps lunch.

Golfers are spoilt for choice with international golf courses all around.

The world famous Bungy Jump started here.

Jet boating, skydiving, para gliding, white water rafting, hang gliding, kayaking, off roading and 4 wheel driving, Queenstown has it all.
